World Teams's Ministry in Ifugao
Trevor Douglas (link) moved to Ifugao in 1982. Ifugao evangelists were already establishing small, rural churches throughout the region. But they needed more training. The Ayangan Ifugao Bible Training Center was built to train local pastors and evangelists. Through the AIBTC, God has multiplied Ifugao pastors and Christian leaders. In 1982, only 33 churches existed in the Ayangan Ifugao region. Today, the region has 110 churches, and the Ifugao Province is 23% evangelical Christian, second only to Benguet Province for being the most Christianized province in the Philippines. Since its inception, over 350 students have graduated from training programs at the Ayangan Ifugao Bible Training Center.
